Lesson Day 5
Your mission - should you chose to accept it......
It’s Friday, the last day of the challenge and the end of the working week for some – congratulations!
Hopefully, though, it is not the end of our journey together. There is nothing new today- just rinse and repeat! Making new habits stick is all about repetition and as the weekend commences I would strongly encourage you to maintain the good habits you have learned during this week. It has been a challenge on many levels but also a week of HOPE.
Embedding the last 4 days
Eat your breakfast within one hour of getting up
Have 15 grams of protein with your breakfast
Don’t go longer than 3 hours without eating
Have some protein with every meal/snack – it doesn’t have to be 15 grams except at breakfast
Why is this important?
Every day counts. It takes 3 months for every egg and every sperm to mature. Everything that both of you does, in terms of nutrition and lifestyle, in any 3 month window will influence the quality of the genetic instruction for your baby. Skipping a day can undermine some of your previous good work, slow down the arrival of your much longed for baby and often shift your mindset into one of shame/self loathing/defeat. Staying motivated is so important and you have come a very long way in just 5 days – I am proud of you. How wonderful will it be to complete this course with your bun finally in the oven .
What you need to do
1. Eat your breakfast, including 15 grams of protein within one hour of getting up and log it in your challenge folder.
2. Schedule snacks every 3 hours throughout your day, set reminders on your phone if necessary
3. Have some protein with each snack or meal
